The Oxford dictionary defines fellowship as “[mass noun] friendly association, especially with people who share one’s interests.”
We are a mass. While as individuals we come to Rotary with a wide variety of skills, abilities, and understandings, we come with a common interest in service.
We are a mass of service, associating in friendship to make the world a better place.
We are a mass of clubs formed by individuals, but we are a mass that can change lives.
Let us be thankful to be part of such a wonderful, friendly association en masse, together here for fellowship that has the power to change the world.
